Job summary We have an exciting part-time vacancy in our Disabled Children Referral and Access Team for a Team Manager. Main duties of the job As the Team Manager of the Disabled Children Referral & Access Team, you will work alongside the Children with Disabilities Team (0-18) and the Young Adults Team (18-25). You will collaborate closely with in-house providers of short breaks, health and education professionals, and various private and voluntary organizations. Experience in partnership working and networking is essential, as well as the ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team. Your responsibilities will include: Allocating work and performance monitoring. Supporting the development of the team. Understanding case allocation and thresholds. Demonstrating resilience in a busy environment. Prior experience and understanding of SEND is essential, along with a safeguarding background and experience in managing risk. This part-time position will primarily be based out of the Buttsgrove Centre in Huntingdon, with the option to work from home as part of a hybrid model. Interested in finding out more?
