About this Role The Global Partnerships Associate supports the Fundraising team at GiveDirectly to deliver on revenue goals and drive strategic and innovative partnerships with global foundations, institutions, and corporations. We are looking for a skilled writer with an entrepreneurial mindset who can craft engaging content while developing and optimizing internal systems and processes to enhance team efficiency and impact. ~20% travel What you’ll do: Proposal Coordination (30%) Provide direct proposal support to Partnerships Managers, coordinating and executing proposal-related tasks as assigned; Prepare internal funding alert memos, proposal workbooks and calendars; Copyedit and rewrite content developed by others as needed; Conduct research as required on opportunity information, competitive landscape, and GiveDirectly capabilities/capacity; Write and revise proposal content that is compelling and in compliance with solicitation requirements; Participate in proposal review sessions, capturing feedback, making recommendations, and executing necessary revisions; Create templates, guides and other resources that enhance the proposal development process. Opportunity Sourcing (20%) Proactively monitor key institutional donor portals and research funding opportunities; Attend webinars, panel discussions, virtual conferences, summarizing and disseminating key findings; Monitor industry news and collect information on emerging market trends, new business opportunities, and competitors; Develop and maintain a system for tracking and documenting go / no-go decisions on funding opportunities; Actively participate in workshops and trainings to strengthen skills and industry knowledge. Team Management Support (20%) Manage the Partnerships Engagement Tracker via Salesforce for designated countries; Copyedit program reports drafted by country teams; Draft and maintain job aids related to opportunity sourcing, proposal development, and knowledge management systems; Perform other duties as required. What you’ll bring: Exceptional alignment with GiveDirectly Values and active demonstration of our core competencies. Language Requirement: Professional working proficiency in English. 1-3 years of relevant experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in working collaboratively and independently. Ability to conduct research and analyze information critically. Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated aptitude for being proactive and solutions-oriented. Proven track record of developing and managing new systems and processes. Basic graphic design skills or experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence writing technologies are a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of other content management systems. Must be able to travel approx. 2-3 times per year. Compensation At GiveDirectly, we strive to pay our employees generously and equitably. The United States base salary for this role is $74,900.
