Oversee the pastoral care of students, providing support with social, emotional, and behavioural issues. Develop and implement strategies to improve student attendance, behaviour, and overall well-being. Act as a point of contact for students, parents, and staff, providing advice, guidance, and support when needed. Work closely with the senior leadership team and other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to student care. Monitor student progress, identify issues early, and implement appropriate interventions. Lead and support the pastoral team in creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school environment. Experience in a pastoral or mentoring role, ideally within a secondary school setting. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting students with diverse needs. A passion for supporting young people and helping them to reach their full potential.
