and help shape the future of our students! Responsibilities of a Pastoral Teaching Assistant: Provide pastoral support to students, helping them with their social and emotional needs. Assist in the development and implementation of individual support plans. Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive and inclusive school atmosphere. Monitor and report on students' progress and well-being. Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions. Support students in developing positive behaviours and coping strategies. Requirements of a Pastoral Teaching Assistant: Experience working with young people, ideally in a pastoral or support role. Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
