The job role is to work as part of the Pathology IT team to provide pan-pathology laboratory IT and data support and administration to Blood Sciences, Microbiology, and Histopathology. This role is to provide additional Pathology IT support during the Pathology LIMS project and eCare project for Pathology.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work under the supervision of the Pathology IT System Specialists and Pathology IT Manager in a small team supporting the Pathology laboratory staff within the boundaries of their existing skills and knowledge at all times, giving advice and support to the Pathology laboratories with a range of IT-related tasks. The post holder will support the Pathology IT System Specialists and Pathology IT Manager in maintaining Pathology systems, resolving IT problems, and providing project support.
