We are looking for a passionate middle leader to join our team of pathway leaders. Having made massive strides in our development as a school (see our OFSTED report March 2024), we are delighted to be able to offer this pathway leader role. The successful candidate will be crucial in continuing the development of their learning pathway to secure the best possible outcomes for each student. This role involves leading your learning pathway on both an operational and strategic level, overseen by an Assistant Headteacher. You will ensure our learners at our satellite provisions at Great Chart Primary (KS2) and Towers (KS3-5) achieve excellent outcomes through a personalised approach to inclusion opportunities. You will ensure there are highly effective relationships with all partners, including the mainstream schools and families to maximise every opportunity available to our students. Our learners in this pathway are our most cognitively able learners but continue to require significant support with their communication and emotional regulation skills. Form staff to ensure students achieve accreditations at the highest level they are able to attain and their desired onward destination. The pathway is known as CLICK, which stands for Confidence, Leadership, Independence, Communication & Knowledge. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate excellence in the following areas: Teaching students with SEND, A strong commitment to inclusion, Understanding of pedagogy for different groups of children with SEND, Communication with children and young people, staff, families, and our wider community, Leading others so that all team members deliver high-quality outcomes for all students.
