Patient Access Registrar, Registration- Full Time
Registration Full-time Day shift Mon-Fri 8:30am -5:00pm POSITION SUMMARY Greets patients and completes all registration tasks in an accurate, efficient, timely, and patient-friendly manner, including but not limited to: demographics; collection, recording, scanning, and verification of insurance; determination and collection of copayments, coinsurances, and/or non-covered services; self-pay referrals to financial assistance resources; obtaining valid signatures for any/all required paperwork; monitoring clinicians’ appointment schedules; making requested referral appointments; and performing final insurance-related duties that are requested during the patient’s check-out after the office visit has been completed. Schedules follow-up visits and clinical studies requested by the provider. Consistently demonstrates positive and constructive interactions with patients, co-workers, and all other internal and external customers. Participates as a positive and constructive team member, with flexibility in schedule and workload as needed, sharing information and serving as a resource to co-workers with training, troubleshooting, and problem solving as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent. Experience: Prior experience preferred—on-the-job training available.
