We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Care Co-ordinator role to join our friendly team in Manor Royal, Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy helping patients access the care they need as quickly, safely, and effectively as possible. The role includes a variety of duties including taking inbound and making outbound calls to patients and referrers, managing clinic lists and waiting lists, and other general administrative functions within the Referral Centre. Any work experience in healthcare administration or customer service is highly desirable, but not mandatory. This is a full-time, permanent role but if you are only available for part-time roles then do please still enquire. Our bookings centre is open 08:00am - 18:30pm Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 16:00pm Saturday and Sunday. Main duties of the job

Being the first point of contact for patients who have been referred for an outpatient or diagnostic appointment, answering the phone or email in a friendly and supportive manner. Arrange appointments, ensuring patients and clinics have all the necessary information to ensure this appointment can be attended. Work with patients to accommodate their requirements and ease any concerns they may have. Work with the rest of the team to ensure all bookings are completed to agreed standards and all relevant information is saved to the correct systems. Deal with problems as they arise such as changing of appointments, lost paperwork, providing further information to clinics. To do this role, you should have: A friendly, caring attitude that enables all patients to have a high-quality experience. Flexible approach. Good organisation skills. Previous experience of working in a customer service role is desirable. Previous healthcare experience would be desirable. Full-time or part-time hours available. Salary: From £22,831 dependent on experience Qualifications

1 year of care experience Driving licence Disclosure and Barring Service Check
