Ward Security is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Patrol Officer to join our team based at our client’s premises at 78 Cannon Place-business centre located next to Cannon Street, and a three-minute walk from Mansion House, Bank and Monument stations, providing easy access to the London Underground.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.

Financial support for SIA Licensing and renewal Cycle to work salary sacrifice scheme Company Pension scheme Life Assurance benefits Employee referral scheme Progression, training, and development opportunities Additional benefits we offer via our ReWard membership: Discounted gym membership Discounts at major retailers and travel suppliers Restaurant and Supermarket vouchers Cinema tickets Access to 24/7 free Employee Assistance programme Main Duties: Proactively patrol assigned areas, identifying and addressing potential security risks Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures Investigate and take appropriate lawful action as authorized by corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety, and fire incidents Interact with clients and visitors, providing assistance and fostering positive relationships Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and efficiency Contribute to a culture of safety and security Enforce company policies and procedures Must have: Valid SIA licence 1 year of experience in security or a related field A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges Surveillance skills and detail orientation Ability to work independently and as part of a team IT literate - Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment Who We Are: Ward Security provides security services solutions to a range of UK businesses.
