Pattern Maker / Carpenter

at Brafe Engineering Limited, you’ll be at the heart of our production process, transforming customer design concepts into reality. Your expertise will guide the creation of full-size patterns and core boxes, shaping the very essence of what makes Brafe a leader in alloy castings. Main duties and responsibilities: Skilfully interpret customer product design drawings Craft full-size patterns and core boxes in wood, resin, and tooling board using both hand and machine tools Set up patterns on boards with intricate feeder and runner systems, utilising both 2D and 3D CAD drawings Manage and organise pattern store tasks efficiently About you: We are searching for a dedicated and skilled

who is not only proficient but passionate about pushing the boundaries of engineering. Your keen eye for detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards under pressure will set you apart. We value forward-thinking individuals who can challenge the status quo and embrace the latest technological advancements in the foundry. Previous experience as a Pattern Maker or carpenter is preferred, but above all, your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will be your greatest asset. Training will be provided to refine your skills and ensure your success.
