About the role Join the financial services team as our Payments Officer and champion excellent management of financial resources, promoting efficiency, high performance, probity, and outstanding value for money services. You will be processing invoices, raising purchase orders, answering supplier enquiries and undertaking payment runs, as well as responding to enquiries from internal and external customers with a high standards of customer service. Administration and record

keeping functions and the processing of incoming cash and cheques also form part of this role. About you Demonstrable numeracy, literacy and computer skills are essential to this role, alongside attention to detail and accurate performance of tasks and record keeping. You will also need to demonstrate effective communication skills, the ability to work efficiently

and to a high standard. Good IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office products are required - you will ideally have previous experience of carrying out Accounts Payable tasks, and experience of using Unit 4 Business World / Agresso is also desirable although in house training

can be provided. You will need to have a flexible approach to prioritising daily tasks and the ability to work as part of a team. The successful candidate will be well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads when faced with conflicting demands.
