About the Job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Cheshire working in a payroll bureau and consultancy environment. The role will suit someone with UK payroll experience who is looking to advance their career in payroll. This is a fast-paced role to support the end-to-end payroll delivery across many clients in a quickly growing organization. You will be working with and supported by a wider service delivery team. Location:

Nantwich, Cheshire - Hybrid 2 days a week in office (Tuesday and Thursday). Job Purpose: To provide end-to-end support to payroll service delivery across many clients. To manage payroll queries from clients and escalate where needed. To collate data and prepare payroll imports and changes. To review payroll data including manual checks and prepare to sign off reports. To obtain sign-off from clients for audit. Prepare and upload third-party reports. To conduct compliance checks across the payroll. To support annual payroll tasks including year-end processing, P11D submissions, and PSA reporting. Recognize and suggest ideas for improvement across all processes. Knowledge Nice to have: Understand and complete manual payroll calculations. Payroll regulations including ITEPTA, Pension regulations, WTR, and AWR. Data Protection. NMW. Knowledge of and calculations of statutory payments. Understand and administer employee benefits and expenses. Understanding of termination and redundancy payments along with effective management of earnings for NI and Tax purposes. Understanding of varying pension schemes including salary sacrifice schemes. Understanding of Directors NI. Understanding of SIP schemes and LTIPs. Required Skills: You will require the following skills: Strong mathematics skills and the ability to carry out manual payroll calculations. Ability to run manual payroll calculations to include tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions. Ability to process payroll from end to end including year-end procedures. Ability to use Excel including use of formulas including v look-ups and pivot tables. Strong written and verbal communication. Experience with a modified payroll would be an advantage but not essential.
