Salary:
£24,000 - £26,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
Process new starters, leavers, and transfers in the payroll system Implement changes such as P45s, tax codes, and bank details Assist with SSP, CSP, SMP, and SPP Manage AOEs, DEAs, and Priority Orders Handle third-party payments like trade union fees and health plans Maintain employee records and ensure GDPR compliance Respond to payroll queries via phone and email promptly Complete employment references and overpayment letters Perform ad-hoc payroll and administrative tasks as required Support the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll and Benefits Manager with projects
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Strong time management and organisational skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities High numerical skills and attention to detail Proficient in navigating payroll systems independently - Desirable Self-directed with a high level of confidentiality Problem-solving mindset with a team-oriented attitude Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Word) Eagerness to learn and advance in payroll
