Due to ongoing growth, we are looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team at our head office in Watford. Role Overview: This is a great opportunity for a self-driven and detail-oriented individual to join a thriving recruitment agency. As an Education Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll processing and providing administrative support across various aspects of payroll and credit control. The role is office-based, with working hours from

9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday . You will be working closely with both our internal consultants and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. Key Responsibilities: Credit control and managing outstanding payments Checking and processing timesheets, ensuring high attention to detail at all times Creating weekly and monthly payroll reports for consultants and management Accurately processing weekly payroll to external vendors and creating invoices accordingly Responding to and resolving payroll-related queries via email and inbound calls Performing ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to support the business The Successful Applicant: Strong IT skills with a good level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel Xero or Sage experience Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload Excellent numeracy and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills A strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure Previous experience in data entry or administrative duties is advantageous, although prior payroll experience is not essential Additional Information: This is an office-based role, so the ability to commute to Watford is essential (with parking available on-site). No prior payroll experience is required, though a background in data entry or administrative roles would be beneficial.
