A growing Accountancy Practice based in the heart of Lancaster is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their team. Duties will include: Customer service including answering telephone calls and emails, and dealing with queries and complaints. Contacting new employees to confirm the payroll process and answer queries. Contacting employees who have received the first payment to answer queries. Internal reporting to payroll team leader and payroll manager. Processing employee expenses. Liaising with agencies regarding contracts. External reporting to HMRC. Working with all departments internally. For the successful candidate, an opportunity is available to pursue a CIPP professional qualification or a similar payroll qualification. Additional benefits include growth opportunities within the company. Immediate interviews are available.
