We are seeking a Payroll Clerk for a high growth business based in Newcastle. Our client has modern spacious offices with a sociable and supportive team culture where progression and continued learning and development is encouraged. Flexible working is offered around core hours of 10am to 4pm and you are welcome to work 2 days per week from home, should you want to. The purpose of the Payroll Clerk role is to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of payrolls, undertake general administrative duties and work collaboratively within the payroll hub. You will also be responsible for effectively communicating with clients, offices, HMRC and third-party providers. Required knowledge and experience for the Payroll Clerk role: Demonstrable experience of end to end payroll processing including pensions, benefits and statutory payments. Knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation, processing, and auto enrolment regulations. The ability to manually calculate payroll. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A desire to continue to learn and develop your knowledge and career. Benefits package for the Payroll Clerk role: 2 days working from home per week Study support for CIPP. 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays with the possibility to buy and sell another week. Life Insurance. Christmas shutdown period. 37.5 hour working week with flexible hours around core work hours of 10am-4pm Lots of future progression opportunities. Job Type: Full-time Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension Free parking Life insurance On-site parking Sick pay Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gloucester
