are working with a not-for-profit organisation in Northeast Somerset to aid their search for a

Payroll Manager

on a fixed term contract. This organisation has been growing year on year.

This is a varied role within the department where you will report to the Head of Finance and be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process. Additionally, you will manage a team of payroll assistants, ensuring the process is streamlined and efficient. You will play a crucial role within the department and be fundamental in bringing the payroll process in-house.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that all relevant reports and files are submitted to HMRC. Analyse the payroll process and identify areas for improvement to maximise efficiency. Be the point of contact for the annual external audit and provide samples where required. Work closely with the HR and Finance teams to provide insight into the payroll process.

We are looking for a

CIPP qualified payroll professional

who has experience in bringing payroll in-house and who wants to come in and hit the ground running. This will be a busy and hands-on role where no two days will be the same.
