You’ll be the go-to expert ensuring that our exceptional team receives a seamless, accurate payroll experience. As our Payroll Manager, you’ll: Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, including HMRC reporting, pensions auto-enrolment and related administration, and year-end processes. Keep your finger on the pulse of legislative updates, ensuring our payroll processes are always ahead of the curve. Ensure payroll systems and processes operate efficiently and effectively, identifying opportunities for improvements and maintaining data integrity. Be the first point of contact for payroll queries, resolving them efficiently with a professional touch. Support the HR Operations Manager through an exciting time of change, establishing payroll insights, key reporting, process improvements, and supporting key projects. Key skills: CIPP foundation degree Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NIC, pensions auto-enrolment, and statutory payments Extensive experience of working in a similar autonomous role within a fast-paced, high performance environment. Proficiency with Payroll & HR systems and advanced Excel skills Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in payroll processing. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to independently manage tight deadlines and competing priorities. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions. Clear and professional communicator, able to explain complex payroll issues to diverse stakeholders. Proactive, forward thinking and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Collaborative and supportive, with a team-oriented approach and a focus on continuous improvement.
