Are you a Payroll professional looking to work for a dynamic, flexible and growing organisation? Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee their payroll operations across the UK. Responsibilities: As a Payroll Manager you will be responsible for – Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process for 350-500 employees, including salaried and hourly paid staff. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, meeting all monthly and weekly deadlines. Handle complex payroll calculations, including pensions, bonuses, and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP). Prepare and submit RTI (Real Time Information) filings to HMRC, ensuring full compliance with UK payroll legislation and HMRC regulations. Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare detailed reports for management and auditors. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes, adopting best practices. Requirements: As a Payroll Manager you will need - Demonstrated experience in payroll management, ideally within a multi-site or large organisation. In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NIC, pensions, and statutory payments. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Effective problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex payroll issues.
