My client is looking to recruit a Payroll Officer on a 6-9 month temporary basis which could potentially go permanent for the right person.

In order to be considered for this role you

MUST

have payroll & pensions experience within the education sector, especially LGPS & TPS. In reward for your skills, you will join an established team with a wealth of knowledge within a fantastic company that is highly regarded in the area. If you are looking for work and have the payroll skills detailed above, then we want to hear from you!

Main Responsibilities:

Be part of a team of 5. Experience with Midland I-Trent is not essential. Manage payroll for 5000 employees monthly. Handle day-to-day tasks including starters, leavers, sickness, changes, and documentation. Pension experience is needed. Experience with LGPS/TPS is highly desirable. A public sector background is highly desirable.
