Payroll Officer , you will be part of a team that provides Payroll services to a broad spectrum of clients with weekly, fortnightly, four weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll cycles. Your role will include: Manual calculation of Tax and NI Calculating pay increases, overtime, and bonuses Reporting to HMRC on behalf of clients and liaising regarding any queries Responding to client queries As an experienced
Payroll Officer , you will bring your experience of supporting multiple businesses with timely and accurate payroll. You will need to have: Experience with payroll software such as Iris, Sage, QuickBooks, or ADP Knowledge of pension schemes and auto-enrolment Ability to perform complex calculations and handle large volumes of data Knowledge of HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) guidelines and reporting obligations Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Professional certification in payroll or accounting (e.g., CIPP, AAT) Working in light and airy modern offices on the outskirts of Chard with plenty of free parking and some great benefits, including seasonal working and flexible start and finish times.
