Purpose
This role is as a member of Pilgrim's Shared Services centralized Payroll team, reporting to the Payroll Team Leader and has specific responsibility for processing of Weekly, Fortnightly, 4-Weekly, or Monthly paid employees.
The role will consist of ensuring accurate and timely processing of wage payments to our factory-based operatives across multiple sites (Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland & Great Britain). This includes reviewing and processing all available wage data, such as worked hours, additional payments, statutory payments, tax code changes, and pension changes.
The role also entails accurate review and reporting of related payroll information, including management reporting, month-end holiday information, and worked hours breakdowns as requested by the Team Leader. Liaising closely with relevant linked departments (HR, Accounts) to ensure accurate transfer of information is essential.
Maintaining SOX compliance is a major factor within this role.
