Title: Payroll Officer
Salary: £35,000 p/a
Location: Essex
JGA are delighted to be working with a successful organisation looking to add a Payroll Officer to its team!
Responsibilities include:
Process monthly payroll for one company Process weekly payroll for two subsidiaries Provide assistance and cover for other areas of finance PAYE/HRMC compliance, pension compliance, & payroll deduction reconciliation Working with the team to ensure that customer service is always maintained Communicate with all members of staff at all levels Ad hoc tasks Skills & experience required:
Ability to learn new systems Flexible approach to duties and tasks Strong numerical and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and functions) Data entry and data management skills Ability to identify and resolve payroll-related issues effectively Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively Experience with UK payroll legislation and regulations Qualifications in payroll or a related field (e.g., CIPP qualifications) Relevant experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous If this sounds like you, please apply today or reach out to Freddy at JGA.
