Join our progressive and forward-thinking THAT HR Payroll and Pensions service! We are looking to recruit a Payroll & Pensions Officer, who has a passion for helping us provide an excellent payroll experience to our staff, has a good telephone manner, and possesses strong administrative and IT skills. You must demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to contributing to service improvement and development. You will be responsible for an allocated area but will work closely with our friendly and supportive HR Payroll team. This is a full-time (37 hours per week), all year round, permanent position, paid on the NJC pay scale C2 points 12-16 (FTE £27,711-£29,572). This will be a varied job and will provide you with lots of opportunities. You will be responsible for providing payroll services to schools, so comprehensive knowledge of Payroll and strong organisational skills are key. You will be expected to manage, plan, and organise your workload, work independently, and use your initiative to resolve any complex problems arising and communicate solutions effectively. Customer service is important as you will respond to employee queries in a professional manner by telephone, email, or MS Teams within agreed KPIs, helping us to improve the employee experience. We work collaboratively as a team, where you will help with the development and implementation of new initiatives within the service line and ensure that all payroll services processes are carried out in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
