As a key member of a well organised and highly motivated Payments team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

You will provide a support service for individual clients as assigned by the Payments Manager and will be encouraged to develop and cultivate effective business relationships whilst consistently delivering great customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Process employee and subcontractor payments in an accurate and timely manner taking into account agreed payment days and payment methods. Process statutory payments and manage pension auto enrolment. Ensure timely and accurate calculations of payments to statutory bodies and third-party providers. Discuss payroll, administration, or tax issues that employees or subcontractors may have confidently and proficiently. Assist with the submissions of FPS to comply with RTI regulations. Support in the processing of employee and subcontractor timesheets, managing the invoicing of clients in line with agency agreements. Provide agencies with up to date, accurate and relevant information as and when required. Ensure the business is kept up to date with any relevant information or issues pertaining to either agency invoices and receipts, or employee and subcontractor payments. Ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Ideal Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Previous experience in a payroll role is essential. The ability to manage the working day and prioritise tasks effectively are essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail when entering data, producing reports and making calculations. Excellent numerical skills. Microsoft Excel skills to a good level. Team player with an ability to work well under pressure.
