An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Specialist to join a leading multi-discipline construction and engineering firm on a fixed-term contract. This role sits within a collaborative and dynamic payroll team and requires hands-on experience with COINS software. Key Responsibilities: Processing high-volume, complex, and manual payrolls from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Managing all payroll-related tasks through to year-end, including reconciliations and reporting. Handling statutory deductions, pensions, and payroll queries in a fast-paced environment. Identifying and supporting process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Working closely with finance, HR, and operational teams to ensure smooth payroll operations. Key Requirements: Proven experience in in-house payroll processing, ideally within the construction or engineering sector. Proficiency in COINS software is highly desirable. Strong understanding of manual calculations, payroll legislation, and year-end processes. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing high-volume payrolls. A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
