Payroll Specialist 6 Month Contract Location - Maidenhead Outside IR35 Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist ready to make an impact? This prominent British gaming company are looking for a proactive individual to support their Head of Payroll, ensuring smooth and accurate payroll operations. Joining a high-performing team with the flexibility to work from home two days a week. Your Key Responsibilities: Manage both four-weekly and salaried payrolls, ensuring accurate processing of payroll data. Oversee business processes affecting payroll, including new hires, leavers, and updates. Transfer weekly hours from the time and attendance system to payroll, troubleshooting any issues. Handle first-line payroll queries via email, phone, and the internal service platform, escalating when necessary. Process statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) with precision. Liaise with HMRC and third-party companies. Support pensions and auto-enrolment processes. Assist with the end-to-end payroll process and ad-hoc support for Payroll Manager/Head of Payroll. What They’re Looking For: Experience in payroll administration within a fast-paced, service-driven environment. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Excellent organizational skills, able to multitask with minimal supervision. A customer-focused approach, handling queries with professionalism via phone and email. Adaptability and a collaborative spirit. Clear and effective communication skills.
