This role involves managing payroll functions, ensuring the accuracy of payments, and enhancing the efficiency of payroll procedures. Description The key responsibilities of a Payroll Specialist will include: Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations. Ensuring all payments are accurate and made in a timely manner. Resolving payroll-related queries from staff. Updating payroll records with changes such as salary increases, promotions, or leavers. Collaborating with the HR department to ensure seamless payroll administration. Complying with all relevant legislation and regulations pertaining to payroll. Producing reports for senior management as required. Continually developing and improving payroll procedures. Profile A successful Payroll Specialist should have: Proven experience in a payroll position ideally in-house Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in relevant software applications. Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations. Job Offer A competitive salary in the region of £30,000 - £34,000 per annum Discretionary bonus opportunities. Hybrid/ home working. Study support for CIPP or CIPD.
