£Neg DOEMonday-Friday full-time25 days holidays + BH The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll operations during an exciting period of transformation as we implement ADP as our payroll system. This role requires someone who can balance day-to-day payroll activities with supporting the ongoing implementation of the new system. Duties:

Process and verify employee payroll accurately and in compliance with UK legislation. Approx 450 weekly employees, 200 monthly employees and 30 international employees. Manage all payroll-related adjustments, including bonuses, overtime, deductions, and statutory payments. Collaborate with the implementation team to finalise the migration to the ADP platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Conduct parallel runs and assist in testing payroll processes within ADP. Identify and escalate implementation issues, working with internal teams and ADP consultants to resolve them. Ensure payroll compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies. Generate payroll reports for internal stakeholders and external auditing as required. Assist in preparing P60s, P45s, and other statutory documents. Respond to employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and tax matters. Provide training and support to employees on the new ADP system, where required. Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve accuracy. Stay updated with industry best practices and legislative changes, ensuring processes remain compliant and efficient. Requirements:

Proven experience in payroll administration, ideally within a medium-to-large company. Familiarity with ADP systems or similar payroll platforms is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of UK payroll regulations, including tax codes, pensions, and statutory payments. Excellent numerical skills with high attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
