At its core, RACV is the largest member organisation in Victoria, and we’re trusted to be there for our over 2 million members. About the Opportunity As the Payroll Test Analyst, you will support the implementation of a new workforce management system – UKG Pro across the enterprise. This role involves analysing RACV’s industrial instruments to develop targeted payroll-focused test cases while ensuring compliance with the enterprise awards and agreements. Responsibilities: Providing payroll expertise to support the Workforce Management (WFM) project team, ensuring alignment with industrial requirements. Collaborating with the WFM team to design, review, and execute test cases that validate compliance with modern awards and enterprise agreements. Analysing data to assess alignment with awards and enterprise agreements, including reviewing rosters, timesheets, and payroll outputs for compliance with industrial instruments. Conducting root cause analyses of issues identified during the configuration of the workforce management system, ensuring timely resolution and system accuracy. Identifying, recommending and implementing improvements to established processes or systems configuration that create efficiencies and/or reduce compliance errors. Maintaining proactive awareness of relevant legislation and standards including identification of pending changes. Monitoring Payroll & Time & attendance systems to reflect best practice, governance and statutory compliance. Assisting with scoping of system requirements associated with changes to the industrial landscape and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that changes are configured and tested and are compliant. Reviewing system design and processes with a continuous improvement mindset to ensure best practice. What you’ll need to be successful: Minimum 3 years' experience working in a complex payroll environment with multiple awards and enterprise agreements. Significant experience and knowledge interpreting and applying industrial instruments, particularly Enterprise Agreements and Modern Awards and HR Policies. Demonstrated experience implementing system and process improvements that increase organisational compliance. Experience working with Kronos UKG Pro compulsory. Diploma or equivalent in Payroll or accounting desirable. Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Zephyr Scale desirable. Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment. Able to work independently and as a team member. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
