PCB Design Engineer

PCB Design Engineer We are seeking a talented and experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCB design and control electronics, and will play a key role in designing PCB layouts, electrical schematics, and supporting the mechanical design and manufacturing engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Design and layout of PCBs Entry of electrical schematics from engineering sketches. Creation and modification of 3D models and assemblies, including part and BOM (Bill of Materials) management. Maintenance of PCB libraries and drawing systems. Production of system schematics, wiring diagrams, and schedules. Adherence to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and Health & Safety management systems. Skills and Experience Required: HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline. Proven experience in PCB design, preferably to IPC standards, with a solid understanding of analogue, digital, and surface mount technologies. Proficient in CAD software for PCB and mechanical design (experience with Cadstar, eCadstar, Board Modeller, Inventor, and AutoCAD is highly advantageous). Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office.
