Job Description Job Summary An opportunity has arisen within Warrington Innovation Network for a highly motivated and team-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our PCN Pharmacy Hub team. Our ideal candidate would be an individual with experience in the role, working within a GP practice or Primary Care Network. About Us Warrington Innovation Network is a group of practices that work together to deliver collaborative services for our patients. We are a well-established PCN in Warrington, comprising six GP practices serving a diverse population of 49,000 patients. We are a committed and adaptable network who welcome innovation, change, and collaboration. This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation and support the delivery of healthcare services across a large and diverse population. Please note - we are unable to accept applications from any staff members who are currently employed at any of our member practices of Warrington Innovation Network. Job Overview: The successful candidate would be supported by a highly skilled Pharmacy Team, including 1 x 8A Clinical Pharmacist, 3 x Clinical Pharmacists, 2 x Pharmacy Technician team members, and a team of Care Coordinators. Our pharmacy team works to agreed processes/procedures to provide a consistent and high-quality approach to pharmacy care across our PCN and are essential to support the delivery of care to our patients. If not already accredited, the candidate must be willing to partake in a training programme to work towards achieving a nationally recognised CPPE pathway certificate. It is essential that the individual has enthusiasm to learn, is proactive, caring, positive, flexible, and highly motivated. Duties: Medication alignment Medication reconciliation Medication alternatives Medication side effects New patient medications Repeat dispensing MARR sheets Review of clinical correspondence within scope of competencies Safety and quality searches Drug monitoring Support Clinical Pharmacy colleagues Support care home work Support the development of PCN-wide pharmacy process Job Types:
