We wish to appoint an inspirational teacher to join our PE team from January 2025. There is also potential for a Year Leader position. The successful candidate will have an excellent teaching record and the ability to teach PE across Key Stage 3 and 4, along with the commitment to develop and run weekly extra-curricular activities for students. Applications from ECTs are welcome as the school has a strong ECT training and support programme. This is an all-through school, nursery to Year 11, and rated as Good by Ofsted in February 2018. It is one of the top-performing mixed schools for E-Bacc in Lewisham. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking staff and school leadership team who ensure that the academic and social development of every student is at the heart of what they do. ABOUT THE PE TEACHER POST:

PE Teacher required for this extremely highly regarded school. South East London based secondary school. Close to fantastic transportation routes. Fantastic PE Faculty with excellent support. Extremely forward-thinking school. Ideally, you will be a qualified PE teacher who is passionate about your subject and the way in which you deliver interesting and stimulating lessons. Requirements

First and foremost, you must like working with children and be good at it. You must be highly skilled in the role you are applying for or else willing and able to learn in post. You must show a passion for education and improving the life chances of London children. You should be willing to contribute to the wider life of the Academy (running clubs, attending events). You MUST have 1 year's previous experience as a PE Teacher. You should be highly motivated, like working as part of a team, and possess excellent communication skills. You must hold appropriate qualifications for the role you are applying for.
