Job RoleWe're seeking a Peer and Volunteer Mentor Co-ordinator to lead the strategic development, coordination, guidance, training, and implementation of the Seetec Peer Mentoring and Volunteer programme.In this role, you will engage with a diverse group of participants, including those involved with the Criminal Justice System. You will ensure the effective management of administrative systems and processes, and take on specific projects to enhance our services. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults and a good understanding of the voluntary sector. Location: Southwest Hours: 37 hours per week Closing Date: 13 October 2024Key Responsibilities • Provide guidance and facilitate specific training to volunteers and peer mentors to meet the needs and required standard. • Support development opportunities for volunteer and peer mentors ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to fulfill their role.• Provide supervision; challenge and contribute to risk management ensuring volunteers and peer mentors are fully aware of, and understand, the risks inherent in working with the complex needs of others. Ability to manage conflict situations both in groups and individual situations.• Ensure that all relevant documentation for peer mentors and volunteers are prepared in advance and that information is accurate and up to date.
