Temporary position for up to 12 months Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Peer Support Service Coordinator at our Mental Health Service at Victoria Way in London. At Sanctuary Supported Living, we specialise in delivering a wide range of personalised housing, care, and support services to help people across England to live as independently as possible. We’re a national organisation, but we’re not-for-profit and we think locally by putting our customers at the heart of what we do. The role of Peer Support Service Coordinator will include: Developing, delivering and coordinating the provision of peer support, volunteer and group work to meet the needs of customers. Recruiting and training new Peer Support Workers, Volunteers and Group Facilitators to support the service. Promoting services to ensure effective uptake. Reporting on service delivery whilst building and maintaining knowledge of local services. Using initiative to identify sources of funding and submitting bids for future funding. Supporting the business to ensure the continued financial viability of peer support services and volunteer programmes. Liaising with organisations to develop existing services. Skills and experiences: Experience of working with a variety of client groups is essential. Knowledge of the volunteer sector and associated agency support. Counselling qualification from a BACP accredited course. The ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads. Excellent communication skills including clear written and spoken English. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel and email communications. Travel will be a requirement of the role. Are you ready to be your best?
