Are you ready to make an impact in our Pension and Legal division? We're looking for a dedicated Pension and Legal Professional to support our Pension Manager and UK legal team. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including managing pension communications, assisting with legal administrative tasks, and continually looking at how together you and these functions can better support our wider business. How you will make an impact You will be working with our Pension and Legal teams and focus on the following: Working in a support capacity providing pensions professional and administrative support to the Pension Manager (PSM) and Trustee Chairs. Responsible for managing the communication to/with pension plan members, Trustees, and minute-taking of Pension Board meetings. Working in support of the UK legal team including the UK Head of Legal on a variety of administrative tasks. Providing assistance on routine or repeat legal tasks. Liaising with key stakeholders across the business to facilitate wider legal team support to the UK business. What will make you successful In the Pension aspect of the role, you will provide proactive support to the Pension Scheme Manager (PSM) by handling general tasks, creating and formatting documents, and proofreading and editing materials, all while using your initiative. You'll arrange meetings, which includes setting agendas, preparing the agenda pack, managing logistics, and taking minutes during Trustee meetings. You will be responsible for ensuring filings to authorities are completed within deadlines and manage general administrative tasks such as electronic filing, updating the website, and arranging appraisals for trustees and advisers. Additionally, you'll handle verbal and written member queries in collaboration with the Pension Manager and external advisors, and assist the Pension Plan and advisors with instructing investment decisions. On the Legal side, you'll complete routine company secretary tasks such as maintaining minor board minutes, managing director changes, and preparing confirmation statements. You'll support the sales and finance functions with KYC requirements and process UK insurance claim workflows to external advisors and brokers, aiding the UK finance team with annual insurance renewals. Your responsibilities will also include assisting the Procurement function on supplier compliance projects, liaising with Arla registrars regarding share queries, and sorting and distributing post for the legal and professional support functions at the UK head office.
