Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent demonstrable portfolio of experience - this is a key requirement Evidence of continued professional development (CPD). Up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice and experience of applying this. Effective negotiating/influencing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational skills, with ability to plan and co-ordinate activities. Ability to build and maintain credibility with line managers. Ability to analyse and make judgements involving complex facts or situations. Maintains a professional demeanour in stressful and difficult situations. Although not essential, we would welcome applicants that have previous public sector experience.
