If you want to join us and be part of our next chapter, we would welcome an application from you. Reporting to a People Partner, you will provide guidance and support on people matters across HRUC. With a key focus on contributing to a positive working environment by assisting with people process and the vast range of employee related matters. Key responsibilities include: Serve as the first point of contact for People-related queries, provide advice and guidance in line with legislation and HR best practices Assist in resolving staff queries and concerns, working with managers to ensure a fair and consistent approach Assist and manage employee relations cases, in line with HRUC policies and procedures Create reports and track and monitor trends and metrics for example employee engagement levels and performance Maintain high quality staff records, ensuring data accuracy and legislative compliance We are seeking to appoint a talented and motivated individual who can demonstrate the following: Experience of working in a HR related role Strong understanding of HR practices, including employee relations, discipline and grievance, performance management, and absence management Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments Proactive approach and adept at problem solving The closing date for this post may be brought forward if we receive a sufficient field of applications prior to closing date.
