In this role, you will be joining an established People team of 6, which will be focused on delivering the new 5-year People strategy to empower and engage with all colleagues and stakeholders. The role of People Business Partner will be hands-on, providing input and advice on all People matters with colleagues. You will partner with high-profile stakeholders internally and externally. As part of your role, you will be able to quickly build strong relationships with managers and employees and be the key point of contact for guidance. You will be able to think on your feet, be solutions-focused, and results-driven whilst also balancing long-term thinking with delivering everyday operational excellence. You will support strategic objectives through transformational projects across the organisation, such as the implementation of a new People system. The working hours for this role are full-time Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am until 3.30pm. The role is hybrid working, which will typically be 3 days office-based and 2 days home-based; this can be flexible depending on business needs. Role and responsibilities:

Work closely with colleagues to successfully drive the People strategy to empower and engage. Manage all employee relations matters efficiently such as absence, conduct, performance, and capability. Manage all aspects of casework, including complex cases. Work closely with coaching, guiding, and training managers, empowering them to make decisions, enabling them to manage their people effectively and proactively wherever possible. Demonstrate daily competent working knowledge of employment law, ensuring you remain up to date with all legislative changes. Create people-centric plans to meet business demands. Provide insights from employee data to improve processes, employee engagement, and policy alignment across the business. Work with key stakeholders internally and externally. Support with recruiting and attracting the right people. Lead on HR projects aligned to delivering on strategic objectives such as implementation of a new HR system. Skills and experience required:

Previous demonstrable experience as a HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or People Business Partner. CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience. Exceptional relationship building, communication, influencing, and diplomacy skills. Ability to work collaboratively as a team. Solutions-oriented mindset. Ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity. Strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to deliver difficult messages. Benefits:
