Description

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate People and Culture (P&C) Manager to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will play an essential role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, managing day-to-day HR operations, and supporting the full employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and processes that align with our business goals and values, while contributing to the development of a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities

P&C Operations Management:

Oversee day-to-day HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, payroll and compliance with employment law. Act as a point of contact for all HR-related inquiries from both employees and management. Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring privacy and confidentiality in compliance with company policies and legal requirements, including carrying out right to work checks, referencing and necessary auditing and reporting. Manage HR, Engagement and Learning systems and tools to streamline workflows, enhance HR reporting capabilities and ensuring proactive usage across the business. Manage a small team consisting of Talent Acquisition, Engagement, Office Management and P&C. Employee Lifecycle:

Support and manage the recruitment team and lead on the company onboarding process. Coordinate employee training and development programs, ensuring alignment with individual growth plans and business objectives. Manage employee engagement, recognition, and retention strategies to maintain high morale and reduce turnover. Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, appraisals, and personal development planning. Lead on complex disciplinary, grievance and welfare cases ensuring both the employee and manager is supported throughout (up to and including exiting from the business). Manage offboarding and exit interviews, ensuring a positive experience for departing employees while gathering feedback for continuous improvement. Compliance & Policy Management:

Ensure company policies and practices comply with business processes, employment law and other governing bodies. Advise management on employee-related issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment and resolving complex conflicts in a timely manner. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and changes in employment law to proactively address any potential HR challenges. Culture & Employee Engagement:

Actively promote a positive company culture, ensuring that business values are reflected in everyday practices and interactions. Plan and support employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, incentives and recognition events. Plan and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts across the business ensuring an environment of respect and belonging for all employees. Strategic P&C Planning:

Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management strategies. Provide data-driven insights on HR metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in HR operations.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Proven experience in Human Resources / People and Culture, with time spent in a managerial or senior HR role, ideally leading a small team. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance requirements. Experience in managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, complex ER cases (including dismissals and appeals) and offboarding. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work independently, take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, ideally Workday. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. A proactive, empathetic, and solutions-oriented approach to HR challenges. Ability to be on-site in MK 3 days per week
