Lead and manage a team of four Finance People Capability Officers, providing clear direction and guidance on Learning and Development initiatives. Oversee the delivery of Finance development programmes, ensuring solutions align with business needs. Identify and drive opportunities to adapt Finance development offerings based on stakeholder feedback, managing the process from concept to implementation. Guide the roll-out of the Competency and Career frameworks, regularly seeking input from relevant forums. Develop innovative learning and development solutions to optimise talent potential and performance. Collaborate with the Communications and Events Officer to ensure the effective delivery of development programmes. Act as a subject matter expert on development content, ensuring Finance training programmes align with business goals and objectives. You will be part of a driven and enthusiastic team dedicated to shaping the future of Finance talent development. As a People Manager, you will lead four Finance People Capability Officers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in driving the talent strategy, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and ensuring the implementation of development solutions. The team is committed to creating impactful learning experiences, collaborating with external partners when needed and fostering an environment where innovation and development thrive. With a focus on building stakeholder relationships and closing development gaps within the Finance function, you will contribute to a positive, results-driven culture. This role offers the opportunity to drive real change and help shape the future of our talent, ensuring that training and development are impactful across the organisation. Minimum Requirements

Background in Finance, HR, and/or Learning & Development, with Finance experience being advantageous. Proven experience in people management, having led either direct or indirect reports. Experience in delivering programme outcomes in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. Ability to interpret and present data, and apply design thinking to manage projects from start to finish. Skilled in stakeholder management with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organisation. Please be aware that many roles at BAE Systems are subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the roles you are eligible to perform within the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks. Compensation

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.
