People Services Business Partner 37 hours per week, based in Preston up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) The People Services Team deliver exceptional customer service to our colleagues across Community Gateway. Reporting to our Head of Culture and Engagement, this new role will play a key part in business partnering with managers and senior managers across the organisation. It will also deliver on high profile projects, and have responsibility for specific areas of our service, including colleague engagement, wellbeing, learning and development and recognition, ultimately ensuring we deliver our People Strategy and Corporate Plan. Our team live and breathe our corporate values and it is important that the successful candidate do the same. What we are looking for: Extensive experience in a HR Manager or Business Partner role, influencing and supporting at all levels within an organisation. Employment law knowledge, and continuing development to ensure you are aware of the latest changes. Great communication skills - ability to write policies, procedures and reports tailored to a variety of audiences. Experience of designing and delivering engaging and impactful training to employees and managers. Experience of working with HR systems (Itrent/Jobtrain a bonus). High levels of attention to detail with the ability to analyse a variety of data, identify trends and deliver improvements as necessary. CIPD Level 7 or evidence of operating at a similar level. It would be great if you also had: Experience of working in social housing. Experience of overseeing a learning and development function. Experience of payroll.
