HR Systems Specialist

to capture, analyse and convert people related data into value-adding information with additional insight to aid business decision making. As an HR Systems Specialist at Acorn Insurance, you will be responsible for the production of dashboards and detailed people and resource MI as required for the business, presenting complex data in creative and digestible formats. You will have extensive knowledge of and a passion for developing innovative solutions within our HRIS system Dayforce or similar system. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders across our core business and Group to identify and develop solutions which will improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our current people MI and present solid recommendations to our leadership team. You will work within the HR Team as an efficient, analytical and professional contributor to the People Team. You will play a vital role in researching and presenting people data, developing ad hoc reports or metrics, creating new forms and workflows, writing detailed reports for management, troubleshooting data, coaching new team members, designing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with data privacy guidelines. HR Systems Specialist Working hours:

Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week) What you will be doing: Become involved with the delivery of our people strategy to develop a selection of reporting solutions which enable stakeholders to use data and metrics to both ‘tell the story’ of the initiative and support theoretical decision making. Maintain and create standardised dashboards, bespoke ad-hoc report creation using data from multiple base data sources and/or analytics to provide intelligent management information, presented in an accessible way. Create ad hoc forms and workflows as required by the business. Be responsible for the monthly cyclical reporting calendar. Ensure the HR System holds accurate and meaningful data which gives the level of insight needed to produce the detail we require. Resolve data integrity issues, partnering with the HR team and other stakeholders across the Group. Become a subject matter expert and super user for our HR system and built-in reporting pack. Make recommendations around enhancements to processes and reporting suites to ensure that the team can continue to work effectively and proactively. What we’re looking for: Analytical mindset - Ability to manipulate and translate a large volume of MI and Data into meaningful solutions. Systems analysis - Be able to quickly understand how databases, systems and processes work, always seeking to improve efficiencies as well as making the most of the information available. Attention to detail - Able to assess high level trends and identify smaller issues which can potentially make a large commercial impact on the business. Excellent communication skills – Able to translate data and information in a way which is non-technical and meaningful to the business and communicate this to stakeholders across all communication channels. Experience in Advanced Excel and XML reporting is essential. Dayforce advanced skills is preferred.
