Class 1 Trunk Driver - Nights Working 4 nights from 7: Start times between £16.85 - £25.85 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Trunk Driver to join our well-established client based in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. This is a PAYE vacancy and therefore you will accrue holiday pay separately. You must be aged 21 or over for this role due to client's insurance. Benefits Ongoing work and you will get your weekly rota one week in advance Excellent pay rates You will receive your pay weekly, and there is realistic overtime available working with this client There is site parking available and the site is close to motorway links Site canteen and vending machines Day to Day Duties You will be required to work any 4 nights from 7 and you will know your shifts a week in advance There can be varied start times between, depending on the route you are on Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently Ensure all loads are safe and secure Carry out vehicle inspections and report any faults to management Ensure all paperwork is completed You will be required to take a double deck trailer to destination Assist with the unloading of rails, before returning to the client's premises Essential Skills Must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes Must hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence and have held this for at least two years At least two year's experience driving Class 1 vehicles Hold a valid CPC & DIGI Card No major endorsements: no DD, DR or IN's on licence for insurance purposes No more than six points for minor infringements Desirable Experience Previous night trunking experience would be an advantage but not essential Training You must undergo a Driving Assessment and, if passed, you will undergo a fully paid one day induction Apply Apply today by clicking below
