About the People Systems and Data Officer role : Our People Systems and Data Officer is responsible for the proactive management and long-term development of our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other People Team systems. This role would have a strong focus on reporting, evaluation, and improvement. As our People Systems and Data Officer at National Museums Scotland, you will : Generate and maintain accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual HR reports, supporting the People team with data analytics Manage the monthly reporting schedule, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and accommodate ad hoc requests Analyse data trends and provide insights to People Partners, offering recommendations for operational improvements Support critical system maintenance and operational tasks within the HRIS Develop and produce appropriate management data and information for use in making decisions on HR matters and to meet legislative requirements. Skills and experience we’re looking for in our People Systems and Data Officer : Familiarity with HRIS systems Experience developing HR systems to meet the objectives of the organisation Knowledge and understanding of database administration and maintenance Experience developing technology solutions that help to streamline and automate (new) HR processes and ensure accuracy Hiring the right person for the right job is everything to us.
