HHR-Administration Job Summary: The assistant is responsible for all phases of meal preparation and planning. This role requires supervision of all dietary personnel when the director is not present. The assistant cook must maintain a clean and aesthetic environment in the kitchen and dining room. The job involves direct interaction with residents, staff, and volunteers. The assistant will prepare Meals on Wheels and coordinate with volunteers for meal delivery. Proper sanitation and safety procedures must be observed at Historic Homes of Runnemede. After all three meals, the kitchen and dining room should be left clean and orderly. The candidate will serve meals and assist in the cleanup of the dining room with the help of other staff.
