Working as a Performance Nutritionist you will determine appropriate methods of implementing the overall programme of nutrition service - Including strategic support, education programmes to the squad as well as individual one-to-one support. You will contribute towards the Women's Sport Science and Medical Department's vision of providing an elite player centred environment that separates Aston Villa Women from other WSL clubs. You will play a key role in the multi-disciplinary team working alongside the Women's Football Medical and Performance Teams to create, implement and monitor evidence-based nutrition strategies tailored to the needs of female football players.
Minimum Requirements:
BSc Hons in Nutrition or Sport Science or equivalent subject area SENr Accreditation ISAK Level 1 Accreditation Postgraduate degree in Nutrition Be a UKAD Clean Sport Advisor You will have extensive experience of working within a professional team sport, and in the provision of Nutrition services to high performance elite athletes. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of promoting the role of food to enhance performance and health. You will need to have a proactive, calm and positive attitude and be able to communicate in a clear and concise way. You must hold a full, UK driving licence and be able to work flexibly as this role will require you to work evenings, weekends and matchdays as and when required.
