About Us:
Public Protection & Licensing in Westminster City Council is a world of extraordinary stories. Pest control might not sound like the most glamorous job, but it is essential for keeping our borough clean, safe, and healthy. As our Senior Pest Control Technician, it's the task to ensure Westminster is free of pests that can cause worry, fear, discomfort, and illness. The dedicated team works tirelessly across the borough, from restaurants and cafés to parks and gardens, and from shops and offices to houses and flats.
The Role:
As a Performance Officer, you can make a powerful contribution to Westminster's success. Joining our Public Protection and Licensing Directorate's Performance and Coordination team, you'll support the delivery of services by ensuring the relevant framework is effectively implemented, and work to promote a culture of performance management and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include: Organising the collation of reports that showcase the activities undertaken across the Directorate. Developing, delivering, and monitoring communication plans and strategy. Informing decision-making by working on a diverse range of data and information. Reporting to senior colleagues on resource allocation and ensuring efficient responses to service calls. Developing and maintaining analytical tools and identifying areas for consistency across services. Delivering high-quality performance reports and dashboards. Coordinating specific projects and initiatives. Managing the delivery of communications that promote our work. Delivering ad-hoc analysis to inform strategy and identify high-risk areas.
About You:
With well-developed experience managing processes within a public sector organisation, you'll apply analytical concepts and techniques to deliver workable solutions, interpreting findings and drawing appropriate conclusions. You should possess excellent project development skills, superb written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collect, collate, and report on diverse data. A highly effective problem solver, you will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, and familiarity with data analysis tools and Geographic Information Systems is advantageous.
What We Offer:

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive workplace and employer of choice, encouraging applications from all backgrounds.
