Spire Cheshire are now recruiting for an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join their warm and friendly team on a full or part time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to further their career as Spire can offer training opportunities such as Surgical First Assistant.

Duties and responsibilities

Assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures, focusing on orthopaedics, ENT, neurological, laparoscopic, ophthalmic, gynaecology, and urology.

Support senior staff to ensure high standards of effective care are delivered to all patients within the Theatre suite, maintaining communication within the team.

Prepare an operating theatre for surgery, ensuring instrumentation, equipment, and supplies are ready for specific operative procedures, while minimizing waste.

Perform scrub duties as required.

Who we're looking for

Qualified ODP or Nurse.

NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your pin.

Experience in a surgical/Theatre setting.

Highly motivated and accustomed to working in a challenging but rewarding environment.
