Part of a group They are a practice that strives to always do the best that they can for the team, patients, and clients. They encourage the whole team to come forward with ideas to improve their clinical practice and working environment. If you want to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, then this could be the practice for you. Hours: Their full-time vets work a 4-day week (36 hours). Participate in a 1 in 10-12 out-of-hours rota (however, weekday evenings are for inpatient duty, no client calls, and weekends just involve 8.30-5 pm Saturday and 9-12 Sunday) with a Friday off the week after a weekend on call. Usually, their current clinical directors get 1 day a week of admin time, but this is flexible if you feel that you need more, or if you would rather spend more of your time in clinical work. Certificates are supported for those who want to go further into a particular area, and they currently have certificate holders in Ophthalmology and Emergency and Critical Care. Generous £1750 CPD allowance (plus 4 days), although will consider over this level. RCVS & VDS fees paid plus one professional membership of your choice (e.g., BVA/BSAVA, etc.).
